Invitation

I am pleased to invite you to Images in Doubt, a reading group at Watershed Art and Ecology running from September 22nd through December 1st every other Tuesday at 7pm.

Images in Doubt is a six session reading (seeing, speaking, thinking, eating) group, featuring media consisting of short readings, video essays, instagram reels, artists’ works and more. The group will be a place of experience over study, making space not just for close reading but also for a personal and holistic approach to talking about, looking at, and experiencing images. A nourishing reading group to learn and unlearn together, to push up against conversations around photography. A place to learn how to see. 

Meetings will feature guest lecturers, artists, curators, and writers including the following: Yechen Zhao, Robert Chase Heishman, Sarah and Joseph Belknap, Sonja Thomsen, Karsten Lund, Monika Niwelinska, and Shawn Michelle Smith.
